Steve Rice has been Metal Detecting for over 20 years. He is a member and past chairman of the South Lancs and Cheshire Metal Detecting Club.

Here is a photo of a Gold Hammered Coin I found whilst out on a rally. It dates from Edward 111 in the 14th Century and although is not the oldest or most expensive find to date, it gave me the most joy when I found it.
