Roman Aureus of Carinus 283 -285

Well from time to time special finds are made. This one was made by a fellow detectorist on Bonfire Night It is a Gold Roman Aureus of Carinus 283 -285. Often coins of this condition are only found in hoards when they have the protection of the pot they are buried in, however this was found by itself.
